Had a great opportunity earlier this week (30-OCT-2018) as a representative from Illumina for UW-Madison Alumni Career Conversations: Scientific Research & Development sponsored by CALS and L&S College advisors!
I shared my introduction and experience in the biotechnology industry with several students ranging from Sophomores to 5th year Seniors. It was fun relating to students as they considered pursuing industry vs. academic career paths. A conundrum I had at that age! Looking forward to participate at other UW-Madison Career Conversation events in the future!
