Hello Illumina Colleague!
Through the Illumina in the Community program, each full-time employee is eligible for up to $500 of matching donations for eligible charities per year. Here’s how you can apply that donation to my #PadresPedal fundraising goal!

- First make a donation through my website portal here: https://support.gopedal.org/fundraiser/3251995
- Once your donation has completed, save your email receipt from Padres Pedal organization as either a pdf or screenshot.
- Navigate to the Illumina Benevity Giving Back Portal (Single Sign-On or VPN needed): https://illumina.benevity.org/user/login
- Under “Made a Donation” select “Request a Match.”
- Select Pedal the Cause – San Diego under “Find an Eligible Cause.”
NOTE: Ensure you selected San Diego. - Next, upload the pdf or screenshot receipt from step #2 above. You can request a match for up to $500!
- VERY IMPORTANT! In the “Comments for Administrator” and “Comments for Charity” fields, type in the following, “Please attribute this matching donation to Steven Gruber’s personal fundraising page: https://support.gopedal.org/fundraiser/3251995”
- Select “Next: Confirm Match Request” at the bottom of the page.
- Confirm the information and “Submit Match Request.”
- You will then receive an email confirmation once the match is approved!
NOTE: This may take 30 days for the request to be reflected on my fundraising page/portal.
